Basic daily fee

Income-tested care fee

The income-tested care fee is an additional contribution that people may be asked to pay because they can afford to do so. This is determined through an income assessment. Full pensioners generally do not pay an income-tested care fee.

Call the Department of Human Services on 1800 227 475 to confirm whether you are exempt from the income-tested care fee or if your fees can be determined without submitting a form.

You can estimate your fees by using the Home Care Fee Estimator on the My Aged Care website.

Access the link above to estimate the fee you may be asked to pay.

This will give you the option of privately funding your Home Care Services. Privately funded services can be used together with government-funded services.

Please feel free to contact Cabanda Home Care on 5464 2392 to discuss your personal needs so we can assist you to remain living safely and independently in your own home.
