Volunteers bring a positive and highly motivated spirit that rubs off on the residents/clients making a significant difference to their lives.

Volunteering is seen as contributing to the welfare of the community while others volunteer to gain experiences in an multitude of areas.

Volunteers at Cabanda Care range in age from 16 to 85 yrs.There are duties available to suit both males and females of any age group.

There are a variety of duties carried out by volunteers at Cabanda Care. Volunteers assist by leading and participating in music, craft and leisure activities, reading to residents, playing games like cards, scrabble or bingo, visiting and talking to residents, driving the community bus, delivering Meals on Wheels and even assisting in the Cabanda Coffee Shop.

Cabanda Care involves volunteers in meaningful and useful activities that contribute to the outcomes of the organisation’s work. Whatever time and effort a volunteer can provide will always be appreciated.
